I came across the BBC's series The Paradise. Its set in 1870 and its about England's first department store and of course there is plenty love, drama and fashion. I am half way through the second season and have become completely engrossed in the series. Sadly they have not renewed it for a third season but its still worth watching. Its a fun period show that reminds me of Downton Abbey. They also have Selfridges which I haven't watched yet but once I finish The Paradise I will have to check that one out and see if its any good. I love these period shows, I love the romance of them. It makes me want to go to England, put on a fancy hat and sip some tea.
